His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998.

Explanatory note
The objects of this Regulation are:

(a)	to substitute the description of the Sydney foreshore area contained in Schedule 1 to the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998 (being land on or in the vicinity of the foreshores of Sydney Harbour in respect of which the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority exercises its functions under that Act), and
(b)	to make a consequential amendment to the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Regulation 1999.

This Regulation is made under the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998, including sections 45 and 46 (the general regulation-making power).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority

Amendment (Foreshore Area) Regulation 2000.

3 Amendment of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998 No 170

The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998 is amended by
omitting the matter in Schedule 1 and inserting instead:
The area bounded by a heavy black line drawn on the map marked
“Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority—Foreshore Area—Amendment
No 2” catalogue number 05099916006, dated 28 November 2000,
copies of which are deposited in the offices of the Authority and the
Department of Urban Affairs and Planning.

4 Amendment of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Regulation 1999

The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Regulation 1999 is amended by omitting clause 16.
