I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 1999 as the day on which that Act (sections 49 and 51, Schedule 4 and clauses 7, 8, and 9 of Schedule 5 excepted) commences.
