An Act to amend the Sydney Harbour Bridge (Administration) Act 1932 as a consequence of the enactment of the State Roads Act 1986. [Assented to, 21 May 1986]

Sydney Harbour Bridge (Administration) Amendment 1986

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the "Sydney Harbour Bridge

(Administration) Amendment Act 1986".

Amendment of Act No. 2, 1932

2. The Sydney Harbour Bridge (Administration) Act 1932 is amended

in the manner set forth in Schedule 1.

(Sec. 2)

AMENDMENTS TO THE SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE

(ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1932

(1) Section 2 (Interpretation)—

From the definition of "Commissioner for Main Roads", omit "appointed under the Transport (Division of Functions) Act, 1932, as amended by subsequent Acts", insert instead "holding office under the State Roads Act 1986 or a person acting in that office".

(2) Section 3A (Administration of additional works)—

Section 3A (1)—
