(2) This Act shall commence upon a day to be appointed by tlie Governor and notiiied by proclamation published in the Gazette.

(3) The Act passed in the eighteenth year of the reign of Her late Majesty, Queen Victoria, entitled An Act to incorporate and partially endow the Sydney Grammar School, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

(4) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Sydney Grammar School Act, 1854-1940.
