Wo. ,̂̂ 940, relation to voting by post at elections of aldermen of the City of Sydney; to amend the Sydney Corporation Act, 1932-1934, and certain other Acts in certain respects; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 6th May, 1940.]

SJiort title 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the “ Sydney Corpora-

(2) The Sydney Corporation Act, 1932-1934, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Sydney Corporation Act, 1932-1940.

(a) (i) by inserting at the end of paragraph (a) of No. 58,1932.

X o T E .— Where the notice of claim is given by or on behalf of a person ■>vho claims to have his name inserted in the list by virtue of a qualification referred to in paragraph (b) or paragraph (e) or paragraph (d) of subsection one of section nine of the Sydney Corporation Act, 1932-1940, the notice shall, in pursuance of subsection (1a) of section thirteen of tha t Act, be accompanied by the declaration as to his qualification referred to in paragraph (a l) of subsection one of section eleven of that Act.
