triennial elections of aldermen directed by the Sydney Corporation Act, 1932, to be held in the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three; to extend the term of office of the aldermen of the City of Sydney at present holding office; to amend the Sydney Corporation Act, 1932; and for pur poses connected therewith. [Assented to, 13th September, 1933.]
it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis
lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in I’arliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows;—
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the “ Sydney Cor- siioitutii?.
poratiou (Amendment) Act, 1933.”
(2) Tliis Act sliail be read and construed with the
Sydney Corporation Act, 1932.
2. (1) (a) The triennial election of aldermen directed Postpone--

(2) Nothing in tins section shall affect the opera
tion of section tventv of the Svdnev Corporation Act,
