Act No. 6, 1933.

An Act to provide for the postponement of the:

triennial elections of aldermen directed by the Sydney Corporation Act, 1932, to be held in the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three; to extend the term of office of the aldermen of the City of Sydney at present holding office; to amend the Sydney Corporation Act, 1932; and for pur ­ poses connected therewith. [Assented to, 13th September, 1933.]

it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in I’arliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows;—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the “ Sydney Cor- siioitutii?.

poratiou (Amendment) Act, 1933.”

(2) Tliis Act sliail be read and construed with the

Sydney Corporation Act, 1932.

2. (1) (a) The triennial election of aldermen directed Postpone--

(2) Nothing in tins section shall affect the opera­

tion of section tventv of the Svdnev Corporation Act,

1932.
