326 ANNO VICESIMO QUARTO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGIN AE No. 19 of 1975 An Act to amend the Swine Compensation Fund Act 1962- 1969 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 15TH MAY, 19751 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Swine Compensation Fund Act Amendment Act 1975. (2) The Swine Compensation Fund Act 1962-1969 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Swine Compensation Fund Act 1962-1975. 2. New lo.g title . The long title to the Principal Act is omitted and the following long title substituted: `'An Act to provide for the establishment of The Swine Compensation Fund , the purposes for which moneys in the Fund may be applied, and for matters incidental thereto ".

Swine Compensation Fund Act Amendment Act 1975, No. 19 327 3. Amendmen t of s. 7. Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended by- (a) omitting the word " and " where it occurs between paragraph (c) and paragraph (d); (b) adding at the end of the section the following paragraph:- 44 (e) all costs, charges and expense incurred for a purpose that in the opinion of the Governor in Council is conducive to the- improvement of the production of swine". 4. Amendment of s. 19. Section 19 of the Principal Act is amended by, in subsection (2), omitting the words " one hundred pounds " and substituting the words " two hundred dollars ".
