SWAN LAND REVESTING.

No. 23 of 1932.

AN ACT to revest in His Majesty certain land situate

within the Swan Land District,

[Assented to loth December, 1932.]

HEREAS it appears from the records of the Deeds Preamble.

WOffice at Perth that Richard Edwards is the pro-

prietor of an estate in fee simple of certain land being the Western portion of Swan Location El situate in the Swan Land District and being portion of the land comprised in original Grant -from the Crown to Lionel Samson dated the fifteenth day of August, 1838, and therein called Swan Loca- tion E : And whereas it appears from the records of the Department of Lands and Surveys that in the month of May, 1846, the said Richard Edwards surrendered to the Crown his said estate in the said land: And whereas the said land was not then and has not yet been formally revested in His Majesty but in the records of the Department of Lands and Surveys appears as land reserved for the purposes of a commonage: And whereas it is deemed desirable that the said land shall be expressly revested in His Majesty: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia in this present Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as the Swan Land Revesting Act, commencement.

1932, and shall come into operation on a day to be fixed by

proclamation, -which day shall not be earlier than three

months after the date when this Act is assented to.

Certain land

revested In the

Crown. 2. The land described in the schedule to this Act, being portion of Swan Location El, is hereby revested in His Majesty freed and discharged from the estate, right, title, interest, claim, or demand of any person whomsoever, and shall be deemed to be Crown land within the meaning and for the purposes of the Land A ct, 1898.

SCHEDULE.

All that piece of land standing in the records of the Deeds Office at Perth in the name of Richard Edwards being portion of Swan Location El and being portion of the land comprised in original Grant No. 117 (therein called Swan Location E) bounded on the North partly by Crown lands and partly by the land comprised in Swan Location 1370 ; on the East by the land comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 459 Polio 163 ; on the South partly by Crown lands and partly by portion of the lands comprised in Swan Location 1315 ; and on the West by the Tndian Ocean.
