Swan and Canning Rivers Management

Amendment Regulations 2015

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.           Citation

These regulations are the Swan and Canning Rivers
Management Amendment Regulations 2015.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

the CEO
(a)	regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2015.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Swan and Canning Rivers
Management Regulations 2007.

4.            Regulation 9 amended

(1) In regulation 9(4)(b) delete "it" and insert:

(2) In regulation 9(5) delete "it" and insert:

the CEO

5.            Regulation 17 amended

In regulation 17(2)(b)(ii) delete "Division 1, 4 or 5; or" and insert:

Division 1 or 5: or

6. Regulation 22A amended
In regulation 22A(1)(a) delete "by the Trust" and insert:

under Part 5 of the Act or by permit

7.            Regulation 22 amended

In regulation 22(1) in the definition of permitted launching place paragraph (b) delete "by the Trust" and insert:

by authority of the CEO

8.            Regulation 24 amended

(1)	In regulation 24(1) delete the definition of Trust courtesy mooring.
(2)	In regulation 24(1) insert in alphabetical order:

Department courtesy mooring means a buoy coloured

orange and marked with the words "DPaW, Courtesy reserve;

(3)	In regulation 24(1) in the definition of length delete "gunwale;" and insert:
gunwale.
(4)	In regulation 24(2) delete "Trust" and insert:
Department

(5) In regulation 24(3):

(a) delete "Trust courtesy mooring" and insert:

Department courtesy mooring

(b) delete "by the Trust." and insert:

9.            Regulation 35 amended

(1)	In regulation 35(2)(a) delete "Trust's" and insert:

(2)	In regulation 35(4) and (5) delete "to it" and insert:

10.          Regulation 43 amended

In regulation 43(1) delete "General Manager" and insert:

CEO

11.          Regulations 45 and 46 deleted

Delete regulations 45 and 46.

12.          Schedule 1 amended

In Schedule 1 delete "Trust courtesy mooring" (each occurrence) and insert:

Department courtesy mooring

13. Schedule 2 amended

(1) In Schedule 2 Form 1:

(a) in item 1 delete "swan River Trust" and insert:

Chief Executive Officer

(b)	in item 6 delete "Swan River
(c)	in item 7 delete "Swan River Trust's".
