HIS HONOUR: That being so, I am prepared to state the case
in the terms in this document.
| MR PAULING: | Yes, thank you, Your Honour. | Would Your Honour |
also perhaps set a timetable for written
submissions?
| HIS HONOUR: | Yes. |
| MR PAULING: | My understanding is that 7 December would be a |
convenient date for the hearing of this matter and
our suggestion is, if it please the Court, that the
defendant be given until 29 October, which is a
Friday, for written submissions and the
Commonwealth intervening, the complainant and any
other interveners have until 19 November for
written submissions.
| HIS HONOUR: | Yes, well I am prepared to direct that the |
defendant file and serve comprehensive written
submissions on or before Friday, 29 October and
that the Commonwealth, the complainant and any other interveners file and serve comprehensive
written submissions on or before 19 November.
| MR PAULING: | Yes, thank you, Your Honour. There are no |
other orders that I seek.
| HIS HONOUR: | The Court will now adjourn sine die. |
