WJ HEE.EAS it is expedient to abolish a certain lane proclaimed as Preamble.

Susan-lanc leading from Eorbes-street in the City of Sydney to Dowling'-strcet and to abolish all rights-of-way over the same and to create and dedicate to the public in perpetuity in lieu of and in exchange for the said rights-of-way so to be abolislied as aforesaid a public strec't of the uniform width of twenty feet in extension of and leading from Susan-lane on the Tusculum Estate to Eorbes-street in the said City Be it therefore enacted hy the (Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Lc'gislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Earliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows ;—

1. Erom and after the passing of this Act the lane proclaimed Present street

as Susan-lanc in the City of Sydney leading from Eorbes-street to Dowling-street and passing between the properties of Erancis Callaghan Thomas Buckland James Ireland Abel Bring and Alexander Lowe and all rights-of-way in over or appurtenant to the same respectively shall be and are hereby abolished and extinguished.

2.   Erom and after the passing of this Act a stretet of the uniform Now street created

width of twenty feet in extension of and leading from Susan-lanc as

now formed on the Tusculum Estate to Eorbcs-sti’eet aforesaid through

the lauds of Thomas Buckland and Erancis Callaghan and commerudng at a point on the south side of Susan-lane at its western termination and Itoundcd on the south by a line bearing Avest tlfty-eight minutes south to Eorbes-street on the west by Eorbes-street twenty feet north­ erly on the nortli by a line bearing cast fifty-eight minutes north to the western termination of Susan-lane and on the east by the Avestern boundary of Susan-lane to the point of commencement shall be and the same is hereby created and dedicated to the public as a prd)lic thoroughfare in perpetuity.
