SURVEYORS ORDINANCE

SURVEYORS (EXAMINATION AND REGISTRATION) R E G U L A T I O N S *
R E G U L A T I O N S 1970 No. 4

1. Regulation 11 of the Surveyors (Examination and Registration) Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:—

" (4.) Notwithstanding any exemptions granted to a pupil under regulation 13 or regulation 14 of these Regulations, a pupil shall continue to serve profession­ ally under articles for a period of not less than fifteen months after he obtains the prescribed educational qualifications for the purposes of regulation 4 of these Regulations.".
2.—(1.) Regulation 11 of the Surveyors (Examination and Registration) Regulations, as amended by the last preceding regulation, applies to, and in relation to, a person who obtains the prescribed educational qualifications for the purposes of regulation 4 of those Regulations on or after the date on which these Regulations come into operation.

(2.) Regulation 11 of the Surveyors (Examination and Registration) Regula­ tions, as in force immediately before the date on which these Regulations come into operation, continues to apply to, and in relation to, a person who obtains the prescribed educational qualifications for the purposes of regulation 4 of the first- mentioned Regulations before the date on which these Regulations come into operation.
