2 Surveyors Amendment (No. 1) No. 389, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Surveyors Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The SurveyorsRegulation1992 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Replacement of s.4 (Fees) 3. Section 4— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Fees ‘4.(1) Subject to subsection (2), the fees specified in the Schedule are the fees payable in respect of the matters specified. ‘(2) The following pro-rata registration fees are payable for applications received in the periods mentioned— (a) from 1 April to 30 June—80% of registration fee; (b) from 1 July to 30 September—60% of registration fee; (c) from 1 October to 31 December—40% of registration fee ’. ˙ Amendment of s.6 (Qualifications of surveying associates) 4.(1) Section 6(1)— omit ‘ 38A(a)(i) ’, insert ‘ 38A(b)(i)(B) ’. (2) Section 6(2)— omit ‘ 38A(b) ’, insert ‘ 38A(b)(ii) ’. ˙ Amendment of s.8 (Qualifications of surveyors) 5.(1) Section 8(1)— omit ‘ 37(a)(i) ’, insert ‘ 37(1)(b)(i)(A) ’.
