His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002.

Explanatory note

The objects of this Regulation are:

(a) to update certain fees and deposits payable under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002, and
(b) to prescribe a new fee relating to applications for mutual recognition.

This Regulation is made under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002, including section 36 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Surveying and Spatial Information Amendment (Fees and
Deposits) Regulation 2016.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2016 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

Regulation 2012

[1]      Clause 5 Definitions

Insert in alphabetical order in clause 5 (1):

Department means the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation.

[2]      Clause 5 (1), definition of “Surveyor-General’s directions”

Omit “Land and Property Information”. Insert instead “Department’s”.

[3]      Schedule 7

Omit the Schedule. Insert instead:
