Surveillance Devices Amendment Regulations 2023

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Surveillance Devices Amendment Regulations 2023.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

• (a)

  regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

• (b)

  the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Surveillance Devices Regulations 1999.

4.Regulation 6 amended

Delete regulation 6(1)(da) and insert:

• (da)

  by a public authority authorised under a written law to monitor traffic on a road as defined in the Main Roads Act 1930 section 6;
