Regulation under the Surveillance Devices Act 2007.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Surveillance Devices Regulation 2014 to declare the Crimes

of the definition of corresponding law in section 4 (1) of the Surveillance Devices Act 2007.

(Surveillance Devices) Act 2010 of the Australian Capital Territory as a corresponding law for the purposes general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Surveillance Devices Amendment (Corresponding Law)
Regulation 2017.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Surveillance Devices Regulation 2014

Clause 3 Corresponding laws

Insert after clause 3 (d):

(e) the Crimes (Surveillance Devices) Act 2010 of the Australian Capital Territory.
