vided Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

Verdicts to carry

interest.	1. Every Plaintilf who shall hereafter obtain a verdict in an action in the Supreme Court upon which he shall hereafter obtain judgment shall be entitled to interest at the rate of eight per centum per annum on the amount of such verdict from the time of obtaining such verdict until the time of entering up judgment thereon And the amount of such interest shall be included in the judgment.
Judgment debts to	2. Every judgment debt recovered in the Supreme Court shall carry interest at the rate of eight per centum per annum from the time of entering up the judgment or from the time of the commence­ ment of this Act in cases of judgment then entered up and not hearing interest until the same shall be satisfied And such interest may he levied under a writ of execution on such judgment.
