Explanatory note
The object of these Rules is to amend Part 75 of the Supreme Court Rules 1970 to clarify that evidence in criminal proceedings may be video recorded.

Insert after rule 3K:
3L Recording of evidence
(1) This rule applies to all criminal proceedings in the Court
(including those specified in the Third Schedule to the Act).(2) Evidence given by a witness may be recorded by video or by any
other audio-visual method as directed by the Court.
