The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Supreme Court Act 1933.

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on 8 July 1996.

Remuneration and allowances

2.  Regulation 3 of the Supreme Court (Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations is amended—

(a)by omitting from subregulation (1) all the words after “rate of” and substituting “$1,000 per day”;

(b)by omitting from subregulation (2) all the words after “allowance of” and substituting “$100 per day”; and

(c)by adding at the end the following subregulation:

“(3)  In this regulation—

‘day’, in relation to the remuneration or allowance of an acting Judge, means any day of the week (except a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday) on which the acting Judge exercises the powers, or performs the duties, of a Judge.”.
