518 WMZWIMT^ ANNO VICESIMO QUINTO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 54 of 1976 An Act to amend the SupremeCourt Library Act 1968-1973 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 1ST OCTOBER, 1976] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same , as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Supreme Court Library Act Amendment Act 1976. (2) The Supreme Court Library Act 1968-1973 as amended by this Act may be cited as the Supreme Court Library Act1968-1976. 2. Commencement . This Act shall come into operation on 1 April 1977. 3. Repeal of and new s . 16. The Supreme Court Library Act1968-1973 is amended by repealing section 16 and substituting the following section:- " 16. Annual report and accounts . (1) The Committee shall- (a) on or before 30 September 1977 submit to the Chief Justice and the Attorney-General a report of its proceedings during the period of six months commencing on 1 January 1977 and ending on 30 June 1977;
Supreme Court Library Act Amendment Act 1976, No. 54 519 (b) on or before 30 September in each year subsequent to the year 1977 submit to the Chief Justice and the Attorney-General a report of its proceedings during the period of twelve months ending on 30 June last preceding. (2) A report submitted pursuant to subsection (1) shall include a statement of the Committee's income and expenditure and a balance sheet in respect of the period to which the report relates. (3) The Committee shall, at the time of submitting each report specified in subsection (1), furnish a copy of the report to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Brisbane who shall file it in the Central Registry at Brisbane.".
