Regulations 2000

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase certain fees payable in respect of the commencement of proceedings.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 129 of the Supreme Court Act 1986.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July

2000.

4. Increase in commencement fees

(1) In Schedule 1 to the Supreme Court (Fees)

Regulations 19911—

(a)

in items 1, 2 and 3 for "$625.00" (wherever occurring) substitute "$635.00"; and

Supreme Court (Fees) (Further Amendment) Regulations 2000

S.R. No. 41/2000 r. 4

(b)

in item 3 for "$2500.00" substitute "$2510.00".

(2) In Schedule 2 to the Supreme Court (Fees)

Regulations 1991, in item 1(b), for "$210.00" substitute "$212.50".
