Supreme Court (DX, Address and References to the Sovereign Amendments) Rules 2023

The Judges of the Supreme Court make the following Rules:

PART 1—PRELIMINARY

1Object

The object of these Rules is to amend Chapters I, II and VI of the Rules of the Supreme Court to remove redundant references to the discontinued DX service, to update addresses of the Supreme Court and to update references to the Sovereign.

2Authorising provisions

These Rules are made under section 25 of the Supreme Court Act 1986 and all other enabling powers.

3Commencement

These Rules come into operation on 1 April 2023.

Division 1—Chapter I

4Form of document

In Rule 27.03(11)(a) of the Supreme Court (General Civil Procedure) Rules 2015[1] omit ", document exchange number".
