Rules 1996
The Judges of the Supreme Court make the following Rules:
1. Object
The object of these Rules is to make miscellaneous amendments to the Principal Rules.
2. Authorising provisions
These Rules are made under section 25 of the powers.
3. Principal Rules
In these Rules, the Criminal Appeals and
Procedures Rules 19881 are called the PrincipalRules.
4. Amendment of Rule 4.032
In Rule 4.03(4) of the Principal Rules for "Form
4C" substitute "Form 4D".
5. Amendment of Rule 4.043
In Rule 4.04 of the Principal Rules for "Form 4D" substitute "Form 4C".
6. Amendment of Rule 6.04
In Rule 6.04(4) of the Principal Rules—

(a)
after "give directions" insert "as to its hearing"; and
(b)
for "is made, as to its hearing" substitute "is made".
7. Amendment to Form 4D
In Form 4D to the Principal Rules for "Legal Aid
Commission" (wherever occurring) substitute"Victoria Legal Aid".
