Supreme Court (Chapter IV Adoption Amendment) Rules 2022

The Judges of the Supreme Court make the following Rules:

1Object

The object of these Rules is to amend the Supreme Court (Adoption) Rules 2015 as a consequence of the enactment of the Justice Legislation Amendment Act 2022.

2Authorising provisions

These Rules are made under section 25 of the Supreme Court Act 1986 and all other enabling powers.

3Commencement

These Rules come into operation on 22 August 2022.

4Principal Rules

In these Rules, the Supreme Court (Adoption) Rules 2015[1] are called the Principal Rules.

5Forms updated

(1)In Form 14 of the Principal Rules, for "Health and Human Services" substitute "Justice and Community Safety".

(2)In Form 15 of the Principal Rules, for "Health and Human Services" substitute "Justice and Community Safety".

(3)In Form 16 of the Principal Rules, for "Health and Human Services" substitute "Justice and Community Safety".

(4)In Form 24 of the Principal Rules, for "Health and Human Services" (where twice occurring) substitute "Justice and Community Safety".
