Supreme Court Amendment Rules (No. 3) 2018

Made by the judges of the Supreme Court.

These rules amend the Rules of the Supreme Court 1971.

1.   Citation

These rules are the Supreme Court Amendment Rules
(No. 3) 2018.

2.   Commencement

These rules come into operation as follows —

(a)	rules 1 and 2 — on the day on which these rules are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the rules — on the day on which the Corruption, Crime and Misconduct and Criminal Property Confiscation Amendment Act 2018 section 8 comes into operation.

3. Rules amended

4.     Order 81FA amended

(1)	In Order 81FA rule 1 delete "Part," and insert:
Order,
(2)	In Order 81FA rule 1 insert in alphabetical order:

CCC means the Corruption and Crime Commission
established under the Corruption, Crime and

Misconduct Act 2003 section 8(1);

(3)	In Order 81FA rule 1 in the definition of examination order
after "an order" insert:
made by the court
(4)	In Order 81FA rule 2(1) after "DPP" insert:
or the CCC
(5)	In Order 81FA rule 6:

(a) delete "than the DPP)" and insert:

than the DPP or the CCC)

(b) delete "on the DPP." and insert:

on the DPP or the CCC, as the case requires.

Note: The heading to amended Order 81 FA rule 6 is to read:

DPP or CCC to be served
