SUPRE COURT AMENDMENT

ACT 1993

AN ACT to amend section 167 of the Supreme Court Act

1935.

[Assented to 18 August 1993.1

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1.    This Act may be cited as the Supreme Court Amendment

Act 1993.

Commencement

2. This Act comes into operation on the day on which it

receives the Royal Assent .

Section 167 amended

3. Section 167 of the Supreme Court Act 1935* is amended in

subsection (1) -

(a) in paragraph (c) by deleting "or on an" and substituting the following -

Principal Registrar, Registrar or any other

and

(b) after paragraph (p) by inserting the following paragraph -

(q) For the mediation of any of the differences between any parties to any cause or matter .
