3 4 ueettsI nt1 ANNO DUODECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 3 of 1963 An Act to Amend " The Supreme Court Acts, 1861 to 1961," in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 23RD SEPTEMBER, 1963] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. (1) Short title . This Act may be cited as " The Supreme Court Acts Amendment Act of 1963." (2) Principal Act. " The Supreme Court Acts, 1861 to 1961," are in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) Collective title . The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as " The Supreme Court Acts, 1861 to 1963." (4) Commencement of Act. This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-three, and shall operate retrospectively accordingly.

4 Supreme Court Acts Amendment Act of 1963, No. 3 2. Salaries of Judges of the Supreme Court . (1) The salary of the Chief Justice of Queensland shall be at the rate of seven thousand pounds per annum. (2) The salaries of the Puisne Judges of the Supreme Court shall be at the rate of six thousand four hundred pounds per annum. 3. Repeal of s. 2 of 9 Eliz . H. No. 37. Section two of " The Supreme Court Acts Amendment Act of 1960," is repealed.
