Supreme Court Rules (Amendment New South Wales

No. 334) 1999

1.    These rules are made by the Rule Committee on 18 October 1999.

The Supreme Court Rules 1970 are amended as follows— After rule 7 insert—

Certificate of appointment

8. A person appointed as a notary shall be entitled to receive a certificate bearing the seal of the Court.

Part 78 rule 1

The Supreme Court Rules 1970 are further amended as follows— (Relationships) Act 1984” and insert instead “section 32G of the Probate Act”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note does not form part of the rules.)

1.   The object of the amendment contained in paragraph 2 is to provide for a person appointed by the Court as a public notary to receive a certificate of appointment.

2.   The object of the amendment contained in paragraph 3 is to correct an incorrect reference to an Act.
