SUPREME COURT RULES AMENDMENT No. 250 (1990)

NEW SOUTH WALES

[Published in Gazette No. 174 of 21 December 1990]

1. These Rules are made by the Rule Committee on 10 December

1990.

2. The Supreme Court Rules 1970 are amended as follows—
(a) Part 1 rule 3

(i) After "PART 80—COMPANIES (NEW SOUTH WALES, CODE" insert "AND CORPORATIONS LAW".

(ii)  After "PART 80—COMPANIES (NEW SOUTH WALES, CODE" omit "DIVISION 1—Preliminary—r 1" and insert instead "DIVISION 1—Preliminary–rr. 1–1A''

(b) Part 80

(i) After "COMPANIES (NEW SOUTH WALES) CODE" where first appearing insert "and CORPORATIONS LAW".

(ii) After rule 1 insert—

Corporations Law
1A Subject to any order of the Court. this Part applies.

makng such changes as it is necessary to make, to proceedings under the Corporations Law as it applies to proceedings under the Companies (New South Wales) Code.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note does not form part of the rules)

1. The purpose of the above amendment is to provide for proceedings under the Corporations Law to be dealt with under the existing rules pending the making of

new rules.
