AN ACT to amend the Rural and Industries

Bank Act, 1944-1950.

[Assented to 11th October, 1951.]

RE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent -1-"" Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as the Rural and Short title.

Industries Bank Act Amendment Act, 1951, and

shall be read as one with the Rural and Industries Bank Act, 1944-1950 (Act No. 51 of 1944, as amended by Acts Nos. 36 of 1947, 14 of 1949 and 40 of 1950, and affected by No. 53 of 1947), referred to in this Act as the principal Act.

2.   The principal Act, as amended by this Act, iTgrulet

may be cited as the Rural and Industries Bank Act, grat=

1944-1951.

3. The following paragraph is added to section S. 46 amended.

forty-six of the principal Act:—

(i) make loans of any nature or amount what- soever to any persons, whether depositors of money in the Bank or not, and whether with or without security, and subject to such conditions and rates of interest as may be thought fit by the Commissioners.

4. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section S.51 amended.

fifty-one of the principal Act is repealed.

5. Section sixty-seven of the principal Act is -U! scpcaled.
