ill Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Y ôur Majesty tlie sum of One million eiglit hundred and nineteen thousand one hundred pounds, that is to say—
The sum of One million six hundred and nineteen thousand one hundred pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the Colony for the months of January, Echruary, and March, or following month of the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine. And
The sum of Two hundred thousand pounds for the Service set
forth in the Eirst Schedule hereto :
And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated llevcnuc Eund of New South Wales the sum so granted to Her Majesty : And whereas certain sums of money have been withdrawn from the Puhlic

Supply and Indemnity.
Account of tlie Colonial Treasurei’ in the Associated Banks without the authority of Parliament for the purpose of paying the claims of contractors and others in anticipation of the sanction of Parliament, which said sums are shown in the Second Schedule hereto, and amount to the sum of Six hundred and twenty-five thousand six hundred and eleven pounds one shilling and fourpence : And whereas the respective sums so withdrawn and payments so made Avere necessary to carry on and maintain the Puhlic Service : And whereas it is expedient to indemnify all persons concerned or engaged in the matter of such withdrawals or payments. Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and Avith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of N cav South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows;—
