GeorgeV. An Act to apply certain sums out of the Consoli-

dated Kcvciiuc Fund, the Government Rail- Avays Fund, the Road Transport and Traffic Fund, the jMetropolitan Transport Trust General Fund, the Neivcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, and the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, toivards the Services of the Years 1931-1932, and 1932­

1933.

Preamble.

TATIIEPcEAS ivc Yolir Majesty’s most dutiful and

loyal subjects, the ^Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the sum of Eourtcen millions one hundred and thirteen thousand pounds, that is to say—

Out of the Consolidated Revenue Eund, the sum

of Seven millions one hundred and thirty

Out of the Road Transport and Traffic Pund, the sum of One hundred and forty-six thousand pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Commissioner of Road Transport during the month of June of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and the months of July, August, September, and October or fol­ lowing month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three.

Out of the Metropolitan Transport Trust General Pund, the sum of One million one hundred and seventy-two thousand pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working ex­ penses and other expenses of tlie Metropolitan Transport Trust during the month of June of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty- two, and the months of July, August, Sep­ tember, and October or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty^-three.

Out of the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Pund, the sum of Sixty-three thousand pounds to defrays the salaries, main­ tenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Newcastle and District Transport Trust during the month of June of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and the months of July, August, September, and October or following month

Out of the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, the sum of One hundred and fifty thousand pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Sydney H arbour Trust during the month of June of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundi’edand thirty-two, and the months of July, August, September, and October or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of Jone, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three.

And wliereas we desire to make good out of the said Funds the sum so grant<*d to Ilis ]\Iajesty: B eit therefore enacted by tlie King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and Avith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of h>'ew South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

7 . The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sums Treasurer to for the Services aforesaid in such manner and in such o^ernoes proportions as the Governor, by "Warrants or Orders Warrant or in writing under his hand, and directed to the said

Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct. And the payments so to bo made shall ho charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the Government Railways Fund, the Road Transport and Traffic Fund, the Metropolitan Transport Trust General Fund, the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, and the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, respectively.

8. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treasurer to

time he allowed credit for all sums of money paid by ai]™,.eoefpt3 him in pursuance of such "Warrants or Orders. And to discharge the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same

shall be so paid shall he full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall he therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.

9 .   This Act may be cited as the “ Supply Act (No. 8 ) , Short title

1932,” and shall he deemed to have commenced on the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.
