apply certain sums out of the Consoli­ dated Revenue Fund, the Government Railways Fund, the Road Transport and Traffic Fund, the Metropolitan Transport Trust General Fund, the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, and the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, towards the services of the Year 1947-1948. [Assented to, 25th November, 1947.]

Preamble.

T '\T HEEEAS we Your Majesty’s most dutiful and

T V loyal subjects, the Members of the Legislative

Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to j’our Majesty the sum of Five millions four hundred and forty-one thousand sis hundred pounds, that is to say—

Out of the Consolidated Eevenue Fund, the sum of Two millions two hundred and eighty-sis thousand three hundred pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during the month of December or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

Out of the Government Eailways Fund, the sum of Two millions four hundred and sixty-five thousand five hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Eailways

Out of the Metropolitan Transport Trust General Fund, the sum of Four hundred and seventy-nine thousand pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Eoad Transport and Tramways during the month of December or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

Out of the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, the sum of Fifty-one thousand one hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Eoad Transport and Tramways during the month of December or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

Out of the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, the sum of One hundred and throe thousand pounds to defray tlie salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Maritime Services Board of New South Wales during the moiitli of December or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
