SUPPLY ACT 1994

No. 37 of 1994

AN ACT to apply out of the Consolidated Fund the sum of $3,100 million for the service of the Year ending 30 June 1995.

[Assented to 30 June 1994.]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Supply Act 1994.

Commencement

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it

receives Royal Assent.

Issue and Application of 100,000,000

3. (1) There shall be issued and may be applied out of the Consolidated Fund as supply granted to Her Majesty for the year from 1 July 1994 to 30 June 1995, the following sums —

(a)

for recurrent services $2,900,000,000; and

(b)

for capital services $200,000,000.

(2) The Treasurer is empowered to issue and authorised to

apply the moneys granted by subsection (1).

Sums Available for Purposes Voted by Legislative

Assembly

4. The sums referred to in section 3 (1) shall be available to satisfy the warrants under the hand of the Governor, given under the provisions of the law now in force, for any services voted by the Legislative Assembly during the financial year ending

30 June 1995.
