SUPPLY ACT.

Act No. 31, 1963.

EUzabethii, An Act to apply certain sums out of the Consolidated No. 31^1963 Revenue Fund, the Government Railways Fund,

the Government Railways Renewals Fund, the Road Transport and Traffic Fund, the Metro­ politan Transport Trust General Fund, the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, the Maritime Services Board Fund and the Maritime Services Board Renewals Fund, towards the services of the Year 1963-1964. [Assented to, 13th September, 1963.]

WHEREAS

W subjects, the Members of the Legislative Assembly of	Preamble.
New South Wales in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the sum of Forty-five millions and fifty-seven thousand nine hundred pounds, that is to say—

Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the sum of Twenty-seven millions one hundred and thirty-three thousand two hundred pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.

Out of the Government Railways Fund, the sum of Thirteen millions three hundred and eight thousand eight hundred pounds to defray the salaries, main­ tenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Railways during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.

Out of the Government Railways Renewals Fund, the sum of Three hundred and ninety-one thousand six hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Railways during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.

Out of the Road Transport and Traffic Fund, the sum of Eight hundred and forty thousand six hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Motor Transport during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.

Out of the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, the sum of Two hundred and forty- two thousand five hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Government Transport during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.
Out of the Maritime Services Board Fund, the sum of Eight hundred and fifty-four thousand seven hun­ dred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Mari­ time Services Board of New South Wales during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.
Out of the Maritime Services Board Renewals Fund, the sum of One hundred and eighty-six thousand five hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working exp>enses and other expenses of the Maritime Services Board of New South Wales during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.

And whereas we desire to make good out of the said Funds the sum so granted to Your Majesty ; Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative No. 31,1963 by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.     Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South £27,133,200

towards making good the Supply so resolved to be granted oftheCon-

9.          The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sums for

the Services aforesaid in such manner and in such proportions Governor’s

as the Governor, by Warrants or Orders in writing under his Warrant

hand, and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to

time order and direct. And the payments so to be made shall

be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue

Fund, the Government Railways Fund, the Government

No. 31,1963 Railways Renewals Fund, the Road Transport and Traffic

Fund, the Metropolitan Transport Trust General Fund, the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, the Maritime Services Board Fund, and the Maritime Services Board Renewals Fund, respectively.

Treasurer	10.	The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time
to have

credit and	be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in
receipts to	pursuance of such Warrants or Orders, and the receipts of
discharge
him.	the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.

Short title. 11. This Act may be cited as the “Supply Act, 1963.’
