\ \ loyal subjects, the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliam ent assembled, have resolved to grant to your M ajesty the sum of Ten millions eight hundred and eighty-two thousand nine hundred pounds, that is to say—

Out of the Consolidated Eevenue Fund, the sum of Four millions five hundred and seventy-two thousand five hundred pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during the months of October and November or follow­ ing month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

Out of the Government Eailways Fund, the sum of Four millions nine hundred and thirty-one thousand pounds to defray the salaries, main­ tenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Eailways during the months of October and November or follow­ ing month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

Out of the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, the sum of One hundred and two thousand two hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Dojiartment of Eoad Transport and Tramways during the months of October and November or following montli of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

Out of the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, the sum of Two hundred and five thousand nine hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Maritime Services Board of New South AVales during the mouths of October and November or following month of the financial year ending- thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hun­ dred and forty-eight.
