Preamble.	T^THEREAS \ve Your Majesty's most dutiful and VV loyal subjects, the Members of the Legislative
Assembly of New South tVales in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the sum of Six millions live hundred and twenty-two thousand three hundred pounds, that is to say—

Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the sum of Three millions three hundred and eighty-seven thousand eight hundred pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during

the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand mne hundred and thirty-eight.

Out of the Government Kailways Fund, the sum of Two millions three hundred and forty-seven thousand eight hundred pounds to defray tire salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses oi the Department of Eailways during the mouths of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Out of the Road Transport and Traffic Fund, the sum of Ninety-eight thousand five hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department ■of Road Transport and Tramways during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty- eight.

Out of the Metropolitan Transport Trust General Fund, the sum of Five hundred and seventy-eight thousand eight hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Road Trans­ port and Tramways during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Out of the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, the sum of Forty-two thousand eight hundred pounds to defray the salaries, main­ tenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Department of Road Transport and Tramways during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

Out of the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, the sum of Sixty-six thousand six hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance and working expenses and other expenses of the Maritime Services Board of New South Wales during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty- eight.

And whereas we desire to make good out of the said Funds the sum so granted to His Majesty : Be it therefore enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parlia­ ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

to pay under 7. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sums

or Order.	in writing under his hand, and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct. And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the Government Railways Fund, the Road Transport and Traffic Fund, the Metropolitan Transport Trust General Fund, the Newcastle and District Transport Trust General Fund, and the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, respectively.

to have 8. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to

credit and	time be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by
receipts to
discharge	him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders. And
him.	the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.

Short title. 9. This Act may be cited as the “ Supply Act, 1937.'’
