SUPPLY ACT.

An Act to apply certain sums out of tlic Consoli- George v.

dated Revenue Fund, the Government Rail­ ways and Tramways Fund, and the Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, towards the Services of the Year 1929-1930, and out of the General Loan Account for Services to be hereafter provided for by Loan. [Assented to, 1st October, 1929.]

loyal subjects, the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South "Wales in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the sum of Seven millions six liundred and seventeen thousand and fifty pounds, that is to say—

Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the sum of Two millions seven hundred and sixty-two thousand pounds, bein" the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtic'th day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

Out of the Government Railways and Tramways Fund, the sum of Three millions one hundred and forty-six thousand eight hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance, and work­ ing expenses of the Government Railways and Tramways during the months of October and November or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

Out of the Sydni'y Harbour Trust Fund, the sum of sixty'-one thousand eight hundred pounds to defray the salaries, maintenance, and working expenses and other expenses of the Sydney Harbour Trust during the months of October

4 . Notwithstanding the provisions of the Audit Act, £i,fi4f),4.';o

1902, there shall and may he issued out of the General

Loan Account and applied for or towards making

the Supply so resolved to be granted to His Majesty, the sum of One million six hundred and forty-six thousand four hundred and fifty pounds for the Services specified in Schedule A hereto annexed.

5 . The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sums Treasurer to

for the Services aforesaid in such manner and in such Ĝ vemor'a proportions as the Governor, by Warrants or Orders in warrantor writing under his hand, and directed to the said

Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct. And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated llevenue Eund, the Government Railways and Tramways Eund, the Sydney Harbour Trust Eund, and the General Loan Account respectively.

6 . The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treasurer to

time he allowed credit for all sums of money paid hy ancTreclipts him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders. And to discharge the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same

shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.

7 . This Act may he cited as the “ Supply Act, 1929.” short title.
