George V, An Act to iipply certain sums out of the Consoli-

No. ^ 1928. dated Revenue Fund towards the Services of the Year 1928-1929, and out of the General Loan Account for Services to be hereafter provided for by Loan. [Assented to, 2nd October, 1928.]

Preamble.	AAJHEREAS wc Your ^lajesty’s most dutiful and V t loyal subjects, the ]\Iembers of the f.egislative
Assembly of New South "Wales in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the sum of Seven millions seven hundred and forty-six thousand four hundred pounds, that is to say—

Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the sum of Five millions five hundred and thirty-two thousand pounds, hcinji the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during the months of Oetoher and November or following month of the financial year ending tliirtietii day of .Tune, one thousand nine liundred and twenty-nine.

Out of the General Loan Account, the sum of Two millions two imndred and fourteen thousand four Imndred pounds for the Services sid fori h in Schedule A liereto annexed :

consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assemldy of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. Out of the Consolidated Levenue Pund of New £5,53^,000

South Wales there shall and may be issued and applied following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter he made in the expenditure of the year 1928-1929,

for or towards making good the Supply so resolved to CemaoUdated

be granted to Ilis Majesty, the sum of Live millions

five hundred and thirty-two thousand pounds to be

expended at tlie rates wliieh have been sanetioned

for the financial year ended thirtieth day of June, one

thousaird nine liundred and twenty-eight, to defray the

expenses of the various Lejiartments and Services of the

2 . Notwithstanding tlie provisions of the Audit Act, £̂*,214,400

1902, there shall and may he issued out of the General

Loan Account and applied for or towards making good oeueiai Loan

four hundred pounds for the Services specified in

Schedule A hereto annexed.

3 . The Treasurer shall issue and pay tlie said sums Tiî aanrer to

for the Services aforesaid in such maimer and in such I’oveaiô s proportions as the Governor, hy Warrants or Orders in wavmntor writing under his liand, and directed to the said

Treasurer, shall from lime to time order and direct. And the ]iaymerits so to he made shall he charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Pund and. the General Loan Account respectively.

4 . The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Tieasmer u>

time he allowed credit for all sums of money paid by

him in pursuance of such "Warrants or Orders. And to disdmvge

the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same''""’

shall he so paid shall be full and valid discharges to

the said Treasurer in passing Ills said accounts for such

suras as shall be therein numtioned, and he shall receive

credit for the same accordingly.

5 . This Act may be cited as the “ Supply Act, 192S.” siioi-t title.
