SUPPLY ACT.

Act No. 41, 1927.

An Act to apply certain sums out of the Consoli- dated Kevenue Fund towards the Services of the Year 1927-1928, and out of the Public Works Fund, and out of the General Loan Account for Services to he hereafter provided for by Loan. [Assented to, 18th November, 1927.']

Out of the Consolidated Revenue Eund the sum
of Thirteen millions two hundred and fifteen
thousand pounds, being the sum required to

Assembly of Tsew South Wales in Parliament assembled, WHEREAS we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Members of the Legislative

have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the sum of Nineteen millions five hundred and four thousand five hundred and ninety-one pounds, that is to s a y -

defray t he expenses of t he var ious D e p a r t m e n t s
a n d Services of t he S ta te du r ing the m o n t h s of
November , December , J a n u a r y , F e b r u a r y , a n d
M a r c h , or following m o n t h of t h e financial year
end ing th i r t i e th day of J u n e , one thousand
n ine h u n d r e d and twen ty -e igh t .
O u t of t he Pub l i c W o r k s F u n d , t he s u m of
Three h u n d r e d and s ixty-seven thousand one
h u n d r e d and n ine ty-one pounds for the Services
set forth in Schedule A here to annexed .
O u t of the Genera l L o a n Account , t h e s u m of
F ive mil l ions n ine h u n d r e d and t w e n t y - t w o
t h o u s a n d four h u n d r e d pounds for t h e Ser­

vices set forth in Schedule B here to annexed .

A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good ou t of t he said F u n d s and the General L o a n A c c o u n t t h e s u m so granted

to H i s Majesty : Be it therefore enac ted by t h e K i n g ' s
M o s t Exce l l en t Majes ty , by and wi th t h e advice and
consent of the Legis la t ive Council and Legis la t ive
Assembly of N e w Sou th W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled,

a n d by the a u t h o r i t y of t he same, as follows :—

South W a l e s the re shal l a n d may be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the Supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H i s Majes ty , t he s u m of Th i r t een mill ions two

h u n d r e d and fifteen thousand pounds , to be expended
a t t he ra tes which have been sanct ioned for t h e

financial year ended th i r t i e th day of J u n e , one thousand n ine h u n d r e d and twenty-seven , to defray the expenses of t h e various D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of the S ta te dur ing

t h e m o n t h s of November , December , J a n u a r y , F e b r u a r y ,

and March , or following m o n t h of the financial year ending th i r t i e th day of J u n e , one thousand n ine hund red and

twen ty -e igh t , subject to the r a t e of any reduc t ion that,
m a y hereaf ter be m a d e in t he expend i tu r e of t he year

2 . O u t of t h e P u b l i c W o r k s F u n d there shal l and

m a y be issued a n d applied for or towards m a k i n g good the Supp ly so resolved to be g ran ted to H i s Majesty , t h e s u m of Three h u n d r e d and s ixty-seven thousand one h u n d r e d and n ine ty -one pounds for t he Services specified in Schedule A he re to annexed .

3 . N o t w i t h s t a n d i n g t h e provisions of t h e Aud i t Ac t ,

1902, t he re shall and m a y be issued ou t of the Genera l Loan A c c o u n t and applied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e Supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H i s Majesty, t he s u m of F i v e mil l ions n ine h u n d r e d and t w e n t y - t w o

thousand four h u n d r e d pounds for t he Services specified
in Schedule B here to annexed .

4 . T h e Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sums for t h e Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such propor t ions as t h e Governor , by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t i ng unde r his hand , and directed to t he said Treasurer , shall from t ime to t ime order and direct. A n d t h e p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shal l be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue F u n d and the P u b l i c W o r k s F u n d and the Genera l Loan A c c o u n t respect ively.

5 . The Treasurer shal l in his accounts f rom t ime to t ime be al lowed credi t for al l sums of money pa id by h im in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders . A n d the receipts of t he respect ive persons to w h o m t h e same shal l be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in pass ing his said accoun ts for such sums as shal l be the re in ment ioned , and he shal l receive credi t for t he same accordingly .
