An Act to apply, out of the General Revenue, the sum of

Four I-kindred Thousand Pounds to the Service

of the Three Months ending the Thirtieth day of

September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.

E it Enacted by the Governor, with the advice and consent of

the Parliament of South Australia, as follows:

be issued and applied, fkom time to time, for the service of the three of $400,000.

1. Out of the Gcneral Revenue of South Australia there shall Issue and application

months ending the thirtieth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, any sums of money not exceeding in the whole the sum of Four Hundred Thousand Pounds.

2. No payments for any establishment or service shall be made Payments not to

out of the said sum in excess of the rates voted for similar

exceed last year's

establishments or services on the Estimates for the year ended the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and

ninety-seven, except so far as such rates are affected by the

Civil Exception-
