An Act to apply, out of the General Revenue, the sum of

Four Hundred Thousand Pounds to the Service of the Year ending the Thirtieth day of June,

one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.

E it Enacted by the Governor, with the advice and consent of

B the Parliament of South Australia, as follows:

year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, any sums of money not exceeding in the whole the sum of Four Hundred Thousand Pounds.

2, No payments for any establishment or service shall be made Payments not

out of the said sum in excess of the rates voted for similar Estimates.	exceed last yearr&
establishments or services on the Estimates for the year ended the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, except so far as such rates are affected by the Civil Service Act, 1874."
