An Act to amend "The 'Vaccination Act," No. 248 of

it Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Ans-

tralia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

and IIouse of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parlia-

ment assembled, as follows:

shall he entitled, upon

within six months after the birth of any child, t o require that the

vaccination of such child shall be performed with calf lymph, and

shall in such notice state the name arid address of the qualified

medical practitioner or public vaccinator by whom he desircs such

child shall be vaccinated. After receipt of such notice the said

vaccination officer shall forward to the said practitioner or public

vaccinator calf lymph for such vaccination, and shall send notice by

registered letter to such parent of the forwarding of such lymph.

lymph he is about to use for the vaccination of such child is calf lymph or humanised lymph, and any medical practitioner, or vaccination officer, or public vaccinator who shall refuse to make such statement, or shall wilfully make a false statement in reference thereto, shall be guilty of an offence, punishable on summary con- viction by a fine not exceeding Ten Pounds.

Amendmentof section

28 of Vaccination Act

3, Section 28 of c ' The Vaccination Act, 1882," shall extend to

1882. the said registered letters and notices.

Incorporation.

4, Except so far as is inconsistent herewith, " The Vaccination

Act, 1882," shall be read as one with this Act.
