An Act to apply, out of the General Revenuc, the sum of

Four Hundred Thousand Pounds, to the service

of the Three Months ending the Thirtieth day of

September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine.

E it Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, l'rcamble.

House of Asscnlbly of the said province, in this present Parliament

assembled, as follows:

be issued and applied, from time to time, for the service of thc three of $400,000.

1, Out of the General Revenuc of the said province there shall Issue and application

months ending the thirtieth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, any sums of money not exceeding in the whole the sum of Four Hundred Thousand Pounds: Provided that no payments for any establishment or service be made in excess of

the rates voted for similar establishments or services on the Estimates

for the year cnded the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, except so far as such rates are modified

by the

Civil Service Act, 1874."
