(WORKS AND BUILDINGS) 1923-24.

An Act to grant and apply a sum out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the service of the year ended the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, for the purposes of Additions, New Works, Buildings, &c.

[Assented to 20th October, 1924.]

Preamble.

BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows:—

Short title.

1.

This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Appropriation (Works and Buildings) Act 1923-24.

Issue and application of £64,526.

2.

The Treasurer may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and apply towards making good the supply hereby granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ended the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and twenty-four the sum of Sixty-four thousand five hundred and twenty-six pounds.

Appropriation of supply.

3.

The said sum granted by this Act is appropriated and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the date of the passing of Act No. 10 of 1923 for the purposes and services expressed in the Schedule.
