Superannuation (Transfer Arrangements) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Superannuation Act 1976.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Superannuation (Transfer Arrangements) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Schedule 10 (Modifications of the Act in its application to the prescribed class of persons referred to in subregulation 13 (1))

2.1   Item 4 (added paragraph 235 (2) (b)):

Omit the paragraph, substitute:

• “(b)

  a reference to the former Board is a reference to the Commissioner if at the relevant time the former Board had ceased to exist.”.

2.2   Item 4 (added paragraph 236 (1) (b)):

Omit “Board” (thrice occurring), substitute "former Board".

2.3    Item 4 (added paragraph 236 (1) (e)):

Omit “Board” (twice occurring), substitute "former Board".
