The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1Short title

This Act may be cited as the Superannuation Supervisory Levy Imposition Amendment Act 2012.

2Commencement

This Act commences on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent.

3Schedule(s)

Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.

At the end of section 7

Add:

1. (5)

   Without limiting subsection (3), the Treasurer may make more than one determination, for a financial year, about any or all of the matters referred to in that subsection.

Application

The amendment made by this Schedule applies from 1 July 2012.
