Superannuation Supervisory Levy Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1)

1Name of regulations

 These regulations are the Superannuation Supervisory Levy Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1).

2Commencement

 These regulations commence on 1 July 1999.

3Amendment of Superannuation Supervisory Levy Regulations

 Schedule 1 amends the Superannuation Supervisory Levy Regulations.

4Transitional

 Despite the substitution of regulation 4 of the Superannuation Supervisory Levy Regulations by these regulations, that regulation, as in force immediately before 1 July 1999, continues to apply in relation to a return of a superannuation fund for the 1994–95, 1995–96, 1996–97 or 1997–98 year of income.

 In these regulations:

Act means the Superannuation (Excluded Funds) Supervisory Levy Imposition Act 1991.

4Basic levy amount

 For paragraph 6 (1) (a) of the Act, the basic levy amount is $45.
