s1 2 s4 Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment (No. 4) No. 232, 1995 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 1995 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Superannuation(StatePublicSector)Regulation 1991 . ˙ Amendment of s 3A (Declared units of the State public sector) 3. Section 3A— insert— ‘(c) Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service.’. ˙ Insertion of new s 7 4. After section 6— insert— ˙ ‘ Discretionary membership—persons transferring to the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service ‘ 7.(1) This section applies to a person who is a member of the scheme and transfers from the Department of Primary Industries to the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service on 7 August 1995. ‘ (2) The person may, on or before 7 November 1995, elect to continue to be a member of the scheme. ‘ (3) The person’s membership of the scheme is discretionary. ‘ (4) The election must be made in writing to— (a) the Executive Director, Government Superannuation Office; and (b) the chief executive, Department of Primary Industries. ‘ (5) The entitlement of a person who does not make an election must be

Schedule 1, item 18— omit . ˙ Amendment of sch 2 (Discretionary membership) 6. Schedule 2— insert— ‘ 19A. Queensland University of Technology A person who elects to continue to be a member of the scheme under this regulation 1 ‘ 27.
