2 Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment (No. 2) No. 463, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Superannuation(StatePublicSector)Regulation1991 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Insertion of new s.3B 3. After section 3A— insert— ˙ ‘Application of section ‘3B.(1) This section applies to a member who is transferred from the State to Queensland University of Technology because of the transfer from the State to the University on 2 January 1994 of the TAFE Kelvin Grove Halls of Residence’s function of providing accommodation for students. ‘(2) The member may elect to continue to be a member of the scheme, subject to the condition that the election be made— (a) in writing to— (i) the Executive Director, Government Superannuation Office; and (ii) Queensland University of Technology; and (b) between 2 January 1994 and 30 April 1994. ‘(3) The entitlement of a member who does not make the election must be dealt with under the Deed. ‘(4) This section expires on 1 May 1994. ’. ˙ Amendment of Schedule 1 (Compulsory Membership) 4.
